Dr. Dave loves people and he gets a thrill out of helping them! As America’s TV Relationship Coach, he has been delighting audiences all over the world through his humorous and open style for over 30 years, bringing a new and rich perspective to all life’s key relationships.

In 2003, the door opened for Dave to use his expertise and express his passion in the area of marriage and family on television. Within months, he had envisioned and created a new TV talk show - Marriage Uncensored was born.
Now, Marriage Uncensored with Dave and Christie is available to people each week across the United States on PBS and in Canada on the CanWest Global television network with a current total reach of 160 million people (May 2009).

Dave is married to Donalyn, his High School sweetheart, and together they coach hundreds of couples every year through both counseling and conferences.
For fun, he loves to workout with his “babe”, play hockey, slow pitch and golf and has run 2 marathons. His greatest highlight each week is getting his family together for a barbeque.
The Currie’s have been married for 35 years and live outside Vancouver, British Columbia, on Canada’s beautiful west coast. They have four married children and 5 grandchildren.
