Birthday Party Tradition: The entire family sings “Happy Birthday” as loud and off key as possible.  It has become such a tradition that friends and neighbours have invited our family to their houses just to sing.

On Thanksgiving at the dinner table we go around and each person says what he/she is thankful for.

DARCY

Holiday food traditions are a huge part of our family memories.  Favorites are caramel corn and shrimp dip.

BRIAN

Our family always goes out for a family dinner on Sunday evening.

ADRIAN

We always eat rice pudding on Christmas Eve.  One person’s bowl has an almond in it.  Whoever gets the almond gets the marzipan pig.

JAMES

We always invite some less fortunate to dinner on Christmas Day.
For important hockey games we light up our crystal hockey player – whether the game is on TV or not.

RICHARD

Mom’s birthday & Anniversary – the kids are allowed to buy anything for their mom from the dollar store.  They get to pick anything they want.

LISA

We do our new year’s resolution together (all 4 of us) and revisit in June…it’s good.

JANICE

Crashing our neighbors house to watch NHL hockey games all season!

For Thanksgiving and Christmas it is a must that my mom makes her pumpkin pie (family recipe).
